At SeakAid, we know that sport can change lives. But too often, women and girls—especially from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds—face barriers to getting involved. Through feedback from parents, youth workers, and young women at our events like the Black History Cup, we’ve heard a clear message: there’s a need for safe, welcoming football spaces just for them.

In partnership with London Vets Ballerz and thanks to support from the Barclays Community Sport Fund, we’re supporting football programs exclusively for women and girls aged 11–30 in areas of greatest need. These sessions are designed to be fun, supportive, and beginner-friendly, with a focus on building confidence, skills, and community.
What the programme offers:
Weekly football sessions led by qualified female coaches from our community
Safe, accessible venues in high-need neighbourhoods
Equipment and support for beginners
Mentoring and social support, especially for younger girls

We’re committed to making football more visible and accessible for women and girls—on the pitch, as coaches, and as community leaders. By promoting these opportunities through our website, social media, and events, we aim to inspire more girls to participate and support our partners in growing the local game.
This isn’t just about football. It’s about creating a space where women and girls feel seen, valued, and supported. It’s about confidence, community, and new opportunities—on and off the pitch.
