A Massive Thank You to Evie Bowers & Ealing Trailfinders for Donating Last Season’s Mizuno Kit

We’ve had a brilliant message come through recently, and we couldn’t wait to share it.

A huge thank you to Evie Bowers and everyone at Ealing Trailfinders for donating a considerable amount of leftover Mizuno rugby kit from last season. As you’ll see in the photos below, this wasn’t a small collection — it was bags and boxes of kit, carefully packed up and ready to be put back into use where it’s needed most.

Why this donation matters

At SeakAid, we collect and redistribute pre-loved sports kit and equipment to support neurodivergent and disadvantaged young people across the UK and the Caribbean. For many young people, having the right kit isn’t just about sport — it’s about feeling included, building confidence, and being able to take part without worrying about what they don’t have.

Where it’s going next

One of the most exciting parts of this donation is that we already know where some of this kit is headed next.

We’ve identified a rugby club in Saint Vincent that will be receiving kit from this collection — and in a brilliant show of gratitude and community spirit, they’ll be changing their name to “Ealing Trailfinders”. That’s the kind of impact that goes beyond equipment. It’s a reminder that when people give, it creates pride, belonging, and connection that can travel far beyond West London.

Closer to home, our team has also highlighted several places in the UK that have already expressed interest in receiving kit from this donation. As always, we’ll be working with trusted community partners to make sure the kit goes where it’s needed most and will be used regularly.
