I want to say a truly heartfelt thank you to Wellington College for supporting SeakAid through a generous sports kit collection and an additional £850 contribution towards shipping costs.

Support like this means far more than words can fully express. Every item of kit collected represents more than clothing or equipment. It represents opportunity. It represents dignity. It represents a young person being given the chance to take part, to feel included and to believe that they matter.

At SeakAid, I have seen how access to sport can change lives. It can help a young person build confidence, improve their wellbeing, find connection and feel a sense of belonging. For many children and young people, especially those facing disadvantage or additional barriers, having the right kit can be the difference between standing on the sidelines and being able to join in.
That is why this support from Wellington College is so meaningful. A large amount of pre-loved sports equipment has now been delivered, and I am deeply grateful for the time, care and commitment that went into making this happen. This equipment will soon go to a good home, where it will be used to support sport, inclusion and meaningful participation for young people who need it most.

The additional £850 towards shipping is also incredibly important. One of the biggest challenges for a charity like SeakAid is not only collecting equipment, but getting it to the communities where it can make a real difference. This contribution helps turn generosity into action. It helps move hope forward. It helps ensure that these donations do not simply sit in storage, but reach young people who will use them, benefit from them and grow through them.
I would also like to recognise Tom Miners, Ben Georgious, Harry Eld, Clara Rose-Mackay, Katya Yaroslavska, Ethan Hui and Anish Ahluwalia as the student team behind Wellington College’s SeakAid collection and fundraising initiative. Their leadership, compassion and commitment to helping others have made this support possible, and I am sincerely thankful for everything they have done.

It is always inspiring to see young people choose to use their time, energy and influence to create something positive for others. What they have done reflects kindness, responsibility and a genuine sense of community. They have not only collected equipment and raised funds, they have helped create opportunities for other young people to move, play, connect and feel included.
Wellington College https://www.wellingtoncollege.org.uk/, based in Crowthorne, Berkshire, has played an important part in bringing this initiative to life, and I am grateful to everyone involved.
From me and all of us at SeakAid, thank you again to Wellington College and the student team for your generosity, compassion and belief in what this support can do. The equipment collected and the funds raised will help more young people access sport in ways that build confidence, connection, wellbeing and inclusion. That is something truly special, and we will never take it for granted.
